Celebrating Success and New Beginnings: A Big Achievement for Our Students

Good morning, beautiful souls! ❤️ It’s another blessed and joyful weekend, and we are overjoyed to share some amazing news with all of you! 🤗

Today, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that six of our Form Four beneficiaries who sat for their KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) exams have earned direct entry into some of the best colleges in the country! Hurray! 🎉 This incredible achievement means that they will receive government sponsorship and partial scholarships, which is a huge step toward realizing their dreams. 👏

The journey to this point has been filled with hard work, commitment, and unwavering dedication. Our students’ efforts have truly paid off, and they have earned their place among the best! They have been called to pursue amazing courses, and we couldn’t be more excited for them as they begin this new chapter of their lives. 🎓🎉

1. Brian Ogallo – JKUAT – BSc in Agricultural Technology & Biosystems Engineering 🎓🎉
2. Joshua Jacob – MOI University – BSc in Technology Education 🎓🎉
3. Brian Waweru – Kabianga University – Hotel and Hospitality Management 🎓🎉
4. Bramwel Differ – Kisii University – Criminology & Security Studies 🎓🎉
5. Alice Awinja – Eldoret Institute – Diploma in Catering and Accommodation 🎓🎉
6. Bruce Mackenzie – Meru Institute – Diploma in Animal Husbandry 🎓🎉

Brian Ogallo, who is set to pursue Engineering at JKUAT, shared these heartfelt words:
“Thank you to the Most High for this great achievement. It’s so amazing to see one’s dream come true. I am grateful to all those who contributed to my success at the high school level. I would like to let you all know that through perseverance, patience, and determination, one cannot have it wrong.” 🤗

Joshua Jacobs, who will be pursuing Technology Education at Moi University, also expressed his gratitude:
“As for me, I just want to say thank you to the Dolfine Korando family as a whole. You guys played a key role in enabling me to be where I am today. May the Almighty God bless you and especially Mama Dolfine, who was kind enough to have us under her umbrella, consistently advising and reminding us to focus on our studies.”

To these outstanding boys and girls who have made us so proud, the entire Korando family wants to say: Well done! Your efforts and commitment have truly paid off, and we are beyond proud of you. We wish you all an even brighter future ahead as you continue to pursue your dreams! 🎉

Despite the challenges that 2020 has brought, we take a moment to smile, reflect on the blessings, and appreciate the progress that’s been made. Moving forward, we are excited to announce that even more of our students will be transitioning into direct college entries, thanks to our continued partnership with Better Me Kenya. Their high school bursary program has made it possible for many students from Madoma Korando Children’s Learning Centre, sponsored by Ripple Effect Project, to transition to top high schools in the region. A total of 116 beneficiaries are now part of this program, with 23 students attending very good boarding schools. 👏🤗

As St. Francis of Assisi beautifully said, “For it is in giving that we receive.” We want to express our deepest gratitude to all our students for giving us the joy of seeing their growth and success.
